Our client, a market brand leader, is enjoying huge success and expanding rapidly and seeks to recruit a trade marketing manager to join their team.

The purpose of the role is:

• to meet and exceed volume and profit budgets for each brand (in the relevant channel) through the successful implementation and management of customer marketing plans;
• to identify and implement new marketing initiative and strategies;
• to clearly communicate and work closely with the sales force to ensure the key brand priorities and objectives are being understood and achieved;
• to work with the commercial and marketing teams to ensure accurate account planning, sales forecasting and sales reporting;
• to attend customer meetings and present customer marketing plans.

Key responsibilities:

• To develop & Implement effective promotional strategies (to include agreeing, implementing & reviewing growth plans in terms of distribution gains, brand share, volume & profit).
• Prepare relevant sector reviews & work with marketing teams to develop brand plans.
• To work with marketing teams to develop & implement strategic projects to tackle issues/opportunities for each brand.
• To develop collaborative partnerships at appropriate levels.
• To present to sales teams to ensure their understanding of each brand's strategic direction & ensure they are aware of all the tools available.
• Have a clear understanding of the main influences/key features and market dynamics of relevant trading channels, key customers, consumers & product categories.
• Continually review sector performance and activity at monthly account plan meetings.
• Ensure information for internal and external requirements is provided within specified deadlines.
• Evaluate all major promotion and customer marketing spend activities and make recommendations for future.
