Case Study – Stacey Hannis
Luxury Goods Company, Tewkesbury
Stacey came to Teamwork Selection in 2010. After leaving her part time retail job, Stacey was looking for a role in a company which could offer her progression opportunities and a stable career.
“I had tried all the local jobsites and the job centre searching for a role that would fit around being a working mother, but had found nothing”, said Stacey. “That’s when I decided to contact Teamwork Selection to see if they had anything suitable.”
As a busy recruitment agency, Teamwork Selection had a variety of roles that could have suited Stacey’s particular requirements, but they were keen to place her into a company which they knew could offer her the career and progression she wanted in the long run.
“We placed Stacey as a Warehouse Packer at one of our great clients in Tewkesbury,” explains Robin. “Although it was initially a temporary position, we knew that if Stacey impressed, the company would be willing to help her progress into a more permanent role.”
“At the time it met my requirements,” said Stacey. “It was available immediately, in a growing business and I could fit it around my family. I was relieved that they had been able to find me something suitable so quickly.”
Stacey has now been an employee at the luxury goods company for over six years and currently holds the title of Production Manager.
“After working as a Warehouse Packer for over a year, I was then promoted to Production Supervisor,” explains Stacey. “From there, I went on to learn the ropes in all aspects of the business, from goods in and despatch, to purchasing and health and safety. I now manage all phases of our production. If it wasn’t for Teamwork I could have missed out on a great opportunity which has led to me carving out a successful and satisfying career.”
