This is a large, high volume manufacturing company which supplies products worldwide. Due to massive success, the company is expanding and they are looking for experienced CNC Setter/Operators who are want to join an ambitious, growing team with room to progress.
They have a requirement for several CNC 6 Axis Miller Setter Operator to work at their state of the art and purpose built facility in Gloucester.
This is a permanent position, with a starting salary from £23K. Salary increases once training is complete.
To be considered for this role you must:
•Ideally be Apprentice Trained
•Have 3 Axis CNC Milling experience (Essential)
•Have an engineering background (2 years minimum)
•Experience of working to AS9100 Standards would be an advantage
They are looking for someone who has experience in a similar role, is a great team player, is a reliable worker, has keen attention to detail, good communication skills and is keen to contribute to the high standard they deliver to their customers.
Duties will include:
The purpose of the role is to ensure the smooth running of a suite of machines in line with customer specifications and manufacturing planning and schedules, maintaining the highest quality at all times.
• To ensure machines are a correctly set up, properly used and maintained.
• Monitor machine operation and output using various inspection methods.
• Carry out machine changeovers. referring to and completing relevant documentation.
Full training is given however experience of working in a similar high volume manufacturing environment would be beneficial.
