Salary: Circa £50,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday 7:30 -4pm, occasional overtime may be required

Fabulous opportunity to have a key lead role within a poultry and pig food chain production farm, with a horse livery.
As production manager, you will need to combine management of the three farm sections with a hands-on awareness of everything that is going on.
Responsibilities will include:
-Monitor, analyse, report and improve the performance and production of the farm.
-Manage all staff employed by the farm, covering a range of duties from recruiting them to training and monitoring them.
-Project planning, implementation, management and evaluation.
-Building and maintaining positive customer relations to ensure effective trading in sales and purchases, as well as ensuring that all third parties enjoy cooperating with the business.
-Liaising with the directors, secretary and employees in order to ensure that administration, sales, purchasing, materials management, production, performance and overall operating functions are all running effectively.
-Acting on behalf of the directors in their absence, according to agreed guidelines.
-All whilst maintaining the health and welfare of the stock and ensuring all regulations, such as environmental policies and duty of care, are adhered to.
